Inspiration - Life Itself

Hey everyone! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. How have ya'll spent your after Christmas days? We've been L-A-Z-Y! I literally felt like I could have slept all day long the day after Christmas. I'm sure it was the official come-down from all the holiday hype. Today, however, was back to work and back to reality. I love the holidays, the family time, the whole "feel" of the season from Thanksgiving to Christmas, but I was happy when it was all over. Time to focus in on the next avenue of life. I felt today like the sun was shining a little brighter, my spirit was joyous (without all the lights and gifts and excitement) and I realized, life itself is truly inspiring. When the sun's out, when the new day brings new life...it's something to be happy about, something to smile about and something to celebrate.

Can you see where I'm going with this? My next digiscrap kit has begun to blossom. Celebrate Life! I'm sure someone somewhere has made a kit like this, but I'm really feeling it. Life...color...joy...inspiration...adventure. God has given us a really awesome gift - the gift of life and that is something we often take for granted. Instead of celebrating those small, quickly forgotten moments, we drown them out with routine and responsibility, busyness and stress.

Maybe it's the new year approaching. It has a way of bringing recollection on the past year and looking forward into the new. Really though, all I want for the new year is to enjoy every day. Enjoy my husband and kids, enjoy my job, to find joy in the daily tasks and chores. I do believe it's possible. So along with inspiration for a new kit, I have found a renewed inspiration to start celebrating life now. Not waiting til tomorrow. I want today to be what I'm living to the fullest in the grace that God has given me. :)

Pantone Spring 2014 Colors

So, with digiscrap in mind, what do you think about Pantone's Spring 2014 color palette? I think they might do the trick! Not all of them, of course, but I'm definitely feelin' quite a few here. Can't wait to see how they come together.

I hope the end of this year is bringing a renewed hope for what's to come and you too will make the choice to celebrate life, every day.

♥ Mandy
